LEGAL NOTICE

BOROUGH OF MOOSIC ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS

Notice is given that the Zoning Board of Adjustments of the Borough of Moosic will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the Moosic Borough Building, 715 Main Street, Moosic at 7:00 P.M.. The purpose of this public hearing is for the following issues:

1. Hear the variance and special use application filed by RUKH Development, LLC for the undeveloped property owned by the Scranton Lackawanna Industrial Building Company located between Montage Mountain Road and Glenmaura National Boulevard, Moosic PA, further identified as parcel numbers 18601-050-005 and 18601-010-010. The developer proposes to construct multiple townhouse and residential apartment units on the property and is seeking variances for parking and impervious lot coverage and a special exception for the building’s height. The property is located in a Planned Development Zone (PDZ).

The public is invited to attend and present testimony.
