Zoning Board of Adjustments Public Hearing: 12/7/2022

Moosic Borough Zoning Board of Adjustments will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the Municipal Building, 715 Main St Moosic.

Wylam 3900 LLC, 7 Villa Drive Moosic, PA 18507 are requesting a drive way variance, 3900 Rear Wylam and 3902 Wylam Avenue, 3 setback variances and a multi-family occupancy.

Interested parties are invited to attend and provide testimony.

Countywide Reassessment moves into Moosic Borough

The data collection (i.e. property inspections) for the countywide reassessment is going to move into Moosic in the next two to three weeks.  There will be data collectors on the streets of Moosic going door to door to speak with residents and inspect their properties.  The data collectors will be easily identifiable with bright orange vests and Lackawanna County ID cards.  Their photos and a description of the vehicles they are driving are on the Lackawanna County Reassessment website.  Residents do not have to talk to the data collectors if they do not wish to, however by speaking to them residents can ensure that the information on their property is complete & accurate.
