MOOSIC BOROUGH ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS

Notice is given that the Zoning Board of Adjustments of the Borough of Moosic will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Moosic Borough Building, 715 Main Street, Moosic at 7:00 P.M.. The purpose of this public hearing is for the following issues:

1. Application for a variance filed by Jimmy Johns – Pocono Sign Company for the property located at 3500 Birney, Moosic PA, seeking a variance to install 2 identification signs and a dimensional variance pursuant to 300-30(f) and Table 4 of the Moosic Borough Zoning Ordinance. The property is located in a General Commercial (C-2) Zone.
2. Application for a variance filed by Birney 1 LP for the property located at 208 Stone Street, Moosic PA, seeking a use variance for placement of machinery and equipment for the operation of a generator for electric vehicle charging stations pursuant to §300-40 of the Moosic Borough Zoning Ordinance. The property is located in a Low Density Residential (R-1) zone.

The public is invited to attend and present testimony.
