NOTICE OF POLICE OFFICER CIVIL SERVICE RECRUITMENT
The Civil Service Commission of the Borough of Moosic is accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the position of Full-Time Police Officer. Applicants must possess current MPOETC Act 120 Certification or otherwise be eligible for certification in accordance with MPOETC requirements and satisfy all qualifications established by the Borough’s Civil Service Rules and Regulations. Applications may be obtained at the Moosic Borough Municipal Building, 715 Main Street, Moosic PA 18507, during normal business hours, or downloaded from moosicborough.com. There is a non-refundable fee of $50.00 due at the time of application. Completed applications must be received no later than 3:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026. Qualified applicants will be notified of the date, time, location, and procedures for written examination, oral examination, physical agility test, background check, drug screening, medical and psychological examination following the application review process.
