Notice is hereby given that Moosic Borough proposed budget has been prepared and submitted to Council for ensuring year 2023. Council will hold a Public Hearing to receive input into the proposed Budget on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 6:45 p.m., Immediately followed by a Special Hearing to adopt the 2023 Budget, followed by the regular schedule Council meeting, where council will consider for adoption the following: Tax Ordinance #1, fixing the tax rate for the calendar year 2023 at 21.87 and Ordinance #2 of 2023 imposed a fee for the collection and disposal of refuse from residential properties and light commercial at the rate ($150.00) DOLLARS per “dwelling Unit” per year.  A copy of the full text of the proposed Ordinances and proposed budget has been filed in the boroughs business office, 715 Main Street Moosic, PA 18507, where it is open for inspection during normal business hours of 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The public is invited.
