Department of Public Works (COVID-19) Schedule

During this global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Moosic Borough is committed to providing our residents with uninterrupted essential service while protecting the health and safety of our employees, and their families.  Following the recommendations of Mayor and Council the Borough is implementing new policies and procedures starting the week of March 30, 2020:

The Department of Public works will continue to pick up garbage and cardboard on regular scheduled date Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  However, services rendered on Thursday and Friday are suspended until further notice, (grass and brush pick up, First Friday of the month paper pick up and special bulk item pick up).

  • All of our office personnel can be reached via email, or by phone during normal business hours to answer questions.
  • The office staff will continue to work in the office and remotely for home answering telephones and providing resident support.
