DPW New Equipment:

Moosic Borough Council & Mayor continues its efforts to update the borough’s fleet of equipment with a new sewer cleaner and a vacuum pump. Versatility is the best keyword to use to describe the new equipment.  

A powerful drain cleaning machines uses a high-pressure water jets to clear obstructions in within the municipal sewer system. This equipment will remove debris from storm systems and sanitary lines to ensure proper operation.

The Borough Council was able to hold the line on taxes, continue to deliver all its municipal services, and fund some upgrades and improvements as needed.

Tire Drop-Off Program: April 26-28, 2017

Representative Sid Michaels Kavulich will again be hosting the annual cleanup, on Saturday April 29—from 9AM –1PM.  In conjunction with the annual cleanup and the kind support of McCarthy Tires assisting in this process, Moosic Borough will host a tire drop off program from Wednesday, April 26, to Friday, April 28, 2017.   If you have any tires you wish to dispose of you can drop them off at Borough DPW garage located at 606 River Street, Moosic between 7 am and 3 pm.   There is no cost for the service.

Good Friday 4/14/17: Closed

Moosic Borough office and Department of Public Works will be closed on Friday, April 14, 2017 in observance of the Easter holiday, therefore, there will be no grass and brush collections that week, however , grass collection will resume the following Friday.
